SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Acts with integrity, honesty, and a deep knowledge that promotes the culture, values, and mission of BOPOMOFO CAFE. Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or fast-paced events to keep the store operating to standard. Builds and maintains relationships with team members, reinforcing the cafe’s core values and collective mission through collaborative efforts. Adheres to and executes opening, midday, and closing procedures to ensure smooth and efficient store operations during all phases of the day. Follows all food handling, safety, and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe, clean, and compliant working environment. Greets and serves customers with personalized, fast, and friendly service, aiming to exceed expectations and create memorable experiences. Adheres strictly to food handling, safety, and sanitation protocols to ensure the well-being of both customers and staff. Uses every interaction as an opportunity to brighten someone’s day, whether through crafting delicious beverages or engaging in friendly conversation. Complies with all operational policies and procedures, including cash handling, safety, and security, to ensure a smooth and safe operation. Quickly absorbs and retains knowledge of all beverage recipes and cashier duties, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. EXPERIENCE Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience in a cafe environment. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES Ability to learn quickly and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to provide exceptional service. Understanding of cafe operations and a focus on maintaining a welcoming customer experience. Prior experience in retail food and beverage is preferred.
